What is the scope of this role?
NetCracker Technology is looking to hire a Senior OSS Business Analyst with strong
knowledge of Telecom OSS domain, with deep expertise in Network Assurance domain
for complex B2B & B2C products. You will take a lead team of business analysts,
play customer-facing role within the Professional Services Organization,
identifying solution and product needs during the requirements gathering, design,
implementation, training, and testing phases of the project. We offer interesting
work at big OSS/BSS projects implementation in North America region with great
opportunities to grow as professional and manager.
Responsible for participating in OSS Implementation projects
Leading Service Assurance Requirements Analysis, Solution Design
Work on design specifications of Service Assurance solution for OSS applications,
Network Monitoring, Trouble Ticket systems, SLA management
Validate design specifications prepared by other analysts
Responsible for creating Requirements, Use cases, High level Design, User
Interface designs for Implementation projects
Participate and support solution development process involving scoping, design,
development & testing
Participate in pre-sales, knowledge transfer, documentation & information sharing
activities
Analyze customer technology, assurance stack of the systems, network topologies
Develop technical presentations & proposals & perform customer presentation.
What skills and experience will you need for this role?
Good knowledge of Service Assurance processes regarding eTOM/ITIL standards;
Deep understanding of the Communications Service Providers key drivers and needs
OSS Service Assurance Experience:
Network Events and Alarm management, Trouble Ticketing, SLA Management, knowledge
of Fault Management, Performance Management functions
Deep understanding core uses-cases in Fault/Performance Management
Experience of working with leading Service Assurance COTS in the market:
e.g. IBM, CA, HP, Remedy etc. would be a plus
Deep understanding of IP, Ethernet and GPON technologies
Understanding events/alarms integration technologies
Client facing experience (to conduct and facilitate sessions, resolve conflicts
and present solution using presentations, demos etc.)
Experience of product or project implementation of OSS systems
5+ years experience in IT/telecommunications
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of IT Technologies and integration standards would be a plus
Fluent English
Availability to work from office ( Hybrid mode)
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
