Ability to communicate and influence product design strategy and partner with UX
Researchers to amplify research and design impact.
Excellent systems-level design thinking and problem-solving skills.

As an Interaction Designer, youll rely on user-centered design methods to craft
industry-leading user experiencesfrom concept to execution. Like all of our UX
jobs, youll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the
Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that
people love to use.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Googles flagship products.
We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer
platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the
essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our
users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across
Googles products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and
strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique
opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with other designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, and
cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative,
thoughtful solutions.
Use wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or high-fidelity
prototypes to communicate the user experience at various stages of the design
process.
Identify opportunities to define UX solutions, and advocate for prioritizing
design-centered improvements to evolve our product offerings.
Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience
updates.
Summary
