Ignite AMER (Americas) sits within Salesforces Strategic Growth Studios team,
which serves a set of Salesforces top customers. SGSs mission is to unlock large
pockets of untapped potential in the customer accounts we support and bring
together the very best of Salesforce to deliver mutual value for Salesforce and
our customers.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a creative business strategist to provide Engagement Leadership
and strategic vision, as we change the way our customers think about and do
business. Ignite Engagements range from light strategic advisory support to
complex, large-scale transformations. Each one is as unique and varied as the
customer needs we serve. This makes the Engagement Lead role one of the most
challenging and rewarding roles at Ignite.
Every engagement brings a new puzzle to solve, a new approach to design, a new
team to lead. Your job is to make sure we're asking the right questions, coming up
with creative solutions, and helping to set the conditions to see those solutions
come to life. Whether problem-solving alongside Executives, inspiring a Leadership
team to share their boldest aspirations, or heading into the field to uncover
customer insights, no two days will be the same. Our ideal candidate will frame
the right Engagements to fit the need, then drive the work and a team to deliver
all while blending business acumen with a deep appreciation for design-led
innovation to uncover and realize new growth opportunities across one or more
industries.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Spearhead complex consulting engagements, anticipating obstacles, and providing
visionary leadership to uncover new opportunities for innovation and
transformation.
Engagement Design:
Define and structure engagements, balancing investment and impact; show courage
and flexibility in determining the activities, approaches, and level of fidelity
to effectively capture and communicate to the customer deep user insights,
strategy, opportunity, and impact.
Team Leadership:
Actively lead cross-functional teams comprising researchers, designers,
technologists, and industry experts, fostering an environment of collaboration and
creativity to solve complex challenges.
Innovation Advocacy:
Champion the principles of human-centered design and strategic innovation,
ensuring solutions not only meet business objectives but also enhance customer and
employee experiences.
Executive Influence:
Craft compelling narratives and strategic presentations that resonate with
executive audiences, driving decision-making and adoption of innovative solutions.
Ambidexterity:
Combine empathy, creative instinct, and business savvy to identify and unlock
opportunities that deliver significant value to our customers and their
stakeholders, as well as to Salesforce
Industry Thought Leadership:
Act as a thought leader, staying ahead of market trends and leveraging insights to
guide our strategic direction and innovation offerings.
Who You Are
Experienced Leader:
You bring 10+ years of experience in strategic consulting or a similar role, with
a proven track record of leading high-impact projects to successful outcomes.
Expert Engagement Manager:
You deftly bring the right people together to collaborate effectively, keeping
tasks and timelines on track, proactively identifying and addressing potential
risks, and readily managing up, down, and out.
Strategic Visionary:
With a depth of knowledge in one or more industries, you possess the strategic
foresight to identify emerging opportunities and challenges, and provide credible
thought leadership to executives.
Commercially Oriented:
You naturally think about business value dynamics and the commercial opportunities
and impact of our work for our customers and for Salesforce
Curious & Empathetic Listener:
You're skilled at asking the right questions those that get to the heart of the
matter, reveal new insights, and encourage open, thoughtful dialogue.
Impactful Communicator:
You build confidence and conviction through your exceptional ability to engage,
influence, and inspire whether with our internal teams or with C-suite
executives; your ability to courageously navigate difficult conversations
strengthens our relationships
Expert Facilitator and Presenter:
You excel at structuring and leading complex sessions that drive alignment and
action; you present with charisma and read the room to maintain energy and
momentum whether in a room of 5, 50, or 500.
Adaptable and Agile:
Comfortable navigating ambiguity, you are adept at pivoting in response to new
insights, industry shifts, or customer circumstances, and with an iterative
approach to creating outputs
Salesforce Savvy:
You demonstrate familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem and its potential to
drive business transformation, with a commitment to deepening this expertise.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of direct experience in strategic consulting or a similar role.
Fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish
Readiness for strategic travel to engage with customers, Salesforce teams, and for
events across LATAM and eventually the US
