Job Summary
Manage customer relationships and drive and close sales in Research Academia and
Early-Stage Biotech accounts. Create, nurture, propose and close on attractive
leads aligned to overall sales goals.
Qualifications
Inclination and ability to listen to various stakeholders (e.g., Customers, Sales)
and generate actionable insights.
Successfully deliver results while quickly adapting to changing priorities and
unforeseen challenges
Self-starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction.
Strong Effective Communication; excellent oral & written communication skills,
Positive attitude with a phenomenal outlook to actioning objectives with
compliance and integrity
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills including
strong grammatical skills Preferred.
Superior telephone etiquette, build relationships and problem solving in the
moment with clear details, facts, and follow-up activities, speaks credibly with
customers, delivers a compelling message with ability to go off script.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelors Business/Engineering or other similar areas.
Highly computer literate (especially in Excel and PowerPoint and other systems)
1+ years of Sales/Inside sales experience with successful track record
In depth understanding of chromatographic science products and instrumentation and
our markets, preferred.
Languages:
Intermediate English and Portuguese
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Design and execute account specific business plans including customer goals,
strategic initiatives, opportunity development, relationship mapping, and
competitive threats.
Lead customers through sales cycle, from opportunity discovery through deal
closure.
Take ownership of own pipeline and accountable for sales targets, proactively
reviewing conversion rates, bottlenecks, and speed to close.
Develop proposal, generate quote, negotiate with customer stakeholders, and close
deal.
Sell services that can be renewable and assure customer loyalty.
Drive improvement in billable service business. Serve as a point of contact to
customers, sales, engineers, District Managers, and supplier with the objective of
retaining growing business.
Feed SFDC funnel activities and assure customer intimacy trough case management.
Support IB initiatives for assigned territory.
Support field team with admin activities whenever is required.
