Working with us.
We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Claim Management Engineer to join our
team. The primary focus of this role is to efficiently manage supplier claims,
recover funds for problems impacting our operations, monitor supplier metric
performance, devise action plans to address poor supplier performance, and
organize events such as Supplier Day. The ideal candidate will possess a strong
background in supplier management, contract negotiation, data analysis, and
project management. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention
to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
How To Contribute To Our Vision
" Investigate and analyze supplier-related problems impacting operations.
" Initiate and manage claim processes to recover funds or resources for the
organization.
" Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and evidence
for claim submissions.
" Maintain accurate records of claim statuses, resolutions, and recoveries.
Supplier Metric Performance Monitoring:
" Develop and maintain systems for monitoring supplier metric performance.
" Analyze supplier performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and
potential risks.
" Communicate performance metrics effectively to internal stakeholders.
" Collaborate with suppliers to establish improvement plans based on performance
metrics.
Action Plan Development:
" Identify suppliers or contracts with poor performance based on established
metrics.
" Develop action plans to address deficiencies and improve supplier performance.
" Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to implement action plans effectively.
" Monitor progress and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Supplier Day Organization:
" Plan, coordinate, and execute Supplier Day events to foster relationships and
collaboration with suppliers.
" Develop agendas, schedules, and presentations for Supplier Day activities.
" Coordinate logistics, venue selection, catering, and other event-related tasks.
" Evaluate the success of Supplier Day events and gather feedback for future
improvements.
What You Need To Make a Difference
" Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field;
advanced degree preferred.
" Experience in quality engineering, supplier quality management, or claim
management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
" Strong understanding of quality management principles, including root cause
analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and supplier quality assurance.
" Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate
complex issues and drive effective resolution plans.
" Proven ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with internal teams and
external suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
" Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ) and supplier
management tools/software is desirable.
" Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and
priorities in a fast-paced environment.
" Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
