Department Overview
The Delivery Engineering Group is the technical lifeblood of the Services
Organization. Our engineers and technicians work seriously to bring to life the
innovative video and communications solutions that support customers' most
pressing challenges. The Delivery Engineering Group has the knowledge and
expertise to deploy our safety and security ecosystem, focused on solving for
safer communities, safer schools and safer businesses, and purposefully designed
with and for our customers.
Job Description
Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations
Supervise and coordinate field activities with the Technicians (internal and
external), fulfilling the requirements of the solution and in accordance with the
executive project.
Guarantee the operational continuity of the service.
Work alongside our EHS area, promoting safety and well-being in the field
activities;
Execute and support any technical task that is directly related to the service
scope.
Promote a healthy environment, where suggestions for improvements are welcome,
aiming to improve quality, based on your field observations.
Routine activities:
Participate in coordination meetings, both with the client and suppliers;
Supervise, monitor and control the work carried out, ensuring compliance with
policies and processes, both for the client and Motorola Solutions, aiming to
maintain high quality standards on the deliverable services.
Report anomalies, which impact the progress of activities, to the client or
superior, so that they can be evaluated and addressed, minimizing the impact on
schedule or costs.
Basic Requirements
Basic Requirements
Technical degree in Telecommunications or Electrical is required.
5+ of experience in radiocommunication configuration and implementation.
CCNA or CompTIA certification is very welcome.
Radiocommunication. (Motorola P25, Mototrbo, TETRA, DMR, LMR);
Video surveillance - configuration and implementation;
MW link - technical MW or PTP links implementation;
AC and DC knowledge (inversor, retificador, QDCA, QDCC, no-break, gerador,
sistemas solares);
Teamwork oriented;
Develop and maintain relationships both internally and externally
A positive attitude with a can-do mentality that enables you to be creative,
resourceful and deliver results
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex
topics to technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Willingness to think out of the box and challenge the status quo
Attention to detail and a flawless execution mindset
Strong general knowledge of wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data
architectures - both public and private (e.g. APCO P25) is highly desirable.
Strong general knowledge of IP networking architecture, protocols and security is
highly desirable
Knowledge of RF coverage predictions, traffic/capacity modeling, and related
toolsets is an asset
Proficient working in Microsoft Project, Excel (specifically with pivot tables),
Powerpoint, Google Sheets, Google Slides
